Horch Roofing, Inc. (“Horch”, “we”, and/or “us”) values your privacy. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from any person, whether an individual or entity (“you”), who accesses or uses our chat feature via Google or our website (https://www.horchroofing.com), including all related applications, dashboards, or platforms, or otherwise provides information to us online. (“Web Services” or “Services”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. By using our Web Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures described in this Privacy Policy.


This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:

  • Through mobile and desktop applications you download from our Web Services or a third-party app store, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the Services

For example, when you contact our Customer Support Team online, we will receive your name, mobile phone number, the contents of a message, and any other information you choose to provide.

You also may provide information to others through our Web Services and your communications may be transmitted to third parties (“User Contributions”). Any User Contributions is done at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of any third party with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions.
  3. Survey Information. Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes such as customer satisfaction and marketing strategy.
  4. Images. We collect any images that you submit to our Services.
  1. Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. The information we collect automatically may include your personal information. As you navigate through and interact with our Web Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  2. Location Information. When you use our Services, if you allow us, we will receive your precise location information. We also infer your more general location information (for example, your internet protocol (IP) address may indicate your more general geographic region).
  3. Device Information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address, web browser type, operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, application installations, device identifiers, other equipment identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, and push notification tokens.
  4. Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and third-party partners collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Our third-party partners, such as analytics and advertising partners, may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services.
  5. Widget Information. Other websites may integrate our widgets. When you visit a site with a widget embedded, we may receive certain information about you, including information about the web page you visited, your IP address, and other information about your device. We and the widget can recognize you across websites containing our widgets, and the widget may be used to show personalized content or advertising. We know when you interact with a widget, and websites containing the widgets may receive this information.

If you choose to link our Services to a third-party account, we may receive information about you, including your profile information, photo, and use of the third-party account. Additionally, we may receive information about you from third parties such as data or marketing partners and combine it with other information we have about you.

We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking).

  1. Methods for Automatic Data Collection. The technologies we use for automatic data collection may include:
  1. Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters placed on the hard drive of your computer. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser during subsequent uses of our Web Services. We may not always collect personal information automatically, but we may tie this information to personal information about you that provide to us or that we collect from other sources.


None of the content or applications on the Web Services serve any third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers.


We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of the collection unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

    1. Aggregate and Anonymous Information. We may disclose aggregated information about users of our Web Services, and information that does not identify any individual, for any business purpose.

  6. Other Users. Any content you post to our Web Services may be displayed on the Services and viewable by other users by default. We are not responsible for the other users’ use of available information, so you should carefully consider whether and what to post or how you identify yourself on our Web Services.
  7. Sale, Acquisition, Merger or Other Asset Transfers. We may share information to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets in which personal information held by us about our users is among the assets transferred.
  8. To Fulfill the Purpose for which You Provide. We may share information at your direction. For example, if you give us an email address or other contact information as a referral, we may use that email address to contact the referred party.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  1. Communications with Other Users. The Services allow you to communicate with other users. Some of those communications are intended to be public, such as a review that is left on a third-party website. Other communications may be private or intended by you or another user to be private. We cannot always control the actions of other users with whom you communicate through our Web Services, so you must be aware that communications you intend to be private could be shared publicly by another user with whom you communicate. Furthermore, by communicating with other users, you acknowledge and agree that information you post or otherwise make public may be available to the public or other users.
  2. Do Not Track. There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not respond to such signals.
  3. Location Information. You can prevent your device from sharing precise location information at any time through your device’s operating system settings.
  4. Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails or by sending us an email stating your request to marketing@horchroofing.com. You can unsubscribe from our other promotional communications by replying “STOP” or by sending us an email stating your request to marketing@horchroofing.com. Even if you out-out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us. For example, if we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions, but this opt out will not apply to information provided to us as a result of a product or service purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.
  5. Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you do not want us to share your personal information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for promotional purposes, you can opt-out by sending us an email with your request to marketing@horchroofing.com.
  6. Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing information to them. These third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way.

Furthermore, we do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you choose to use the Services from other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from United States law (see below for specific information relating to Australian Users), then please note that you are transferring your personal information

outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the United States to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Web Services. Your providing of information, including personal information, on or to the Services constitutes your consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.
