In 2025, our philanthropic efforts focus on three key areas: Children’s Resources, Ending Hunger and Food Insecurity, and Animals.
We are committed to creating a compassionate and sustainable community by addressing these critical needs. Whether through programs that help children thrive, partnerships that combat hunger, or assistance for shelters and rescues, our goal is to foster positive change and make a meaningful impact.
When it comes to choosing how the funds will be allocated, our employees make the decisions collectively. We created the Horch Roofing Responsible Giving Committee to meticulously review each request and discuss how it relates to our annual focus before funding is awarded.

At Horch Roofing, we believe in giving back to the communities that put their trust in us. With every roof installation, we channel a portion of our profit right back into local neighborhoods. Each year, we’re proud to support homeless shelters, stock food pantries, equip youth sports teams, fund classroom supplies, and offer trade-school scholarships.
Our committee carefully reviews all requests to find projects with a clear mission, local impact, and lasting power. We can help with direct funding, discounted or even pro bono roofing services, and hands-on volunteer time from our crews. Since opening our doors, Horch Roofing has partnered with nearly one hundred non-profits across Maine, from Habitat for Humanity to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Our role is practical: to provide funding and resources that help vital programs run smoothly and efficiently.
