Peter Horch, President of Horch Roofing, and five other community members were welcomed onto the Board of Directors for Midcoast Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
For many years, Horch Roofing supported Midcoast Habitat for Humanity by providing roofing services for many of the homes they build. Peter and his crews have provided labor free of charge and donated roofing materials for about 3 Habitat projects per year, totaling approximately $5,000 per roof.
“Giving back to the community is so important to Horch Roofing, and Midcoast Habitat for Humanity is one of our primary areas of support. I’m honored to be chosen to serve with an organization that does such important work in our community.”
Cale Pickford of Allen Insurance and Financial; Patty Eddy of Camden Real Estate Company; Casey Leonard, co-owner of Village Cabinetry and Remodeling; and Ginny Savage, of Breakwater Design & Build were all also inducted onto the Board of Directors along with Horch.
