Horch Roofing is committed to being an active member of the community. Each year, we find ways to give back to the community and support those with the most need. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service in as many ways as we can.
We Work Hard to Support the Community in Many Ways
Often, our work focuses on helping those who need roofing repairs or replacements. These are critical programs, but we also offer a great deal of support to charities in the area. We provide scholarship opportunities, too. Some of our most recent efforts include:
- Awarding our Horch Roofing Trade School Scholarship to two graduating high school seniors or others to pursue a career in the industry
- Contributing to Habitat for Humanity
- Supporting Ronald McDonald House
- Helping Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Mid-Maine
- Sponsoring “The Roofers,” a Five Town Little League team each year
How We Choose Who to Help and Support
As a company dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients, we have always made it our commitment to seek out those services that are near and dear to our hearts. Every year, the employees of Horch Roofing choose a cause to focus on. This collaborative effort is an important way for us to meet more needs. Our donations go to this effort. Our Responsible Giving Committee then works throughout the year to honor the goals of our employees.
This has not changed for 2020. This year, our goal is to support organizations that are working to end hunger. We believe that with COVID-19 creating an even greater need for food assistance in Maine, this is a critical way to help. Horch Roofing has partnered with the Good Shephard Food Bank to do this. This is our way of supporting our neighbors in need. Please take a look and offer help if you can.
Even if you aren’t ready for a new roof, you can still show your support. Having worked with many organizations for over 17 years, at Horch Roofing we have demonstrated a commitment to providing superior support for the region. For those who are interested in telling us about a need, you can do so through our Responsible Giving webpage.
