On October 28th, Midcoast Habitat For Humanity dedicated their latest home on Deer Run Road in Thomaston.
Partner family Krista Lopez-Brochu and her son, Jason, recently moved into their new home, designed by local architects Joe Russillo and Eric Allyn. The design offers each MHFH partner family a home that provides greater energy efficiency than most homes.
For this project, owner Peter Horch put the roof on himself. GAF Roofing, one of the largest roofing manufacturers in the United States and producer of the shingles Horch Roofing uses to build roofs, donated all of the materials used for this home’s roof. Based on Horch Roofing’s work with their product, , and the Habitat For Humanity cause, GAF Roofing was more than willing to help.
Peter and the rest of Horch Roofing were thrilled to be part of this project!
